What is Plantar Fasciitis and how is it caused?
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of each foot and connects the heel bone to the toes (plantar fascia). This causes a stabbing pain near the heel.

Good quality and highly comfortable footwear, that offers a supportive inner sole and shock absorption can help a lot towards alleviating plantar fasciitis. But if your symptoms persist you should consult a Doctor or Podiatrist.
